our factory
sustainabilty approach
licious oceanwear was founded with the approach to be as transparent and sustainable as possible. that is why we always try to take matters into our own hands. to ensure how our products are made, you find a read about our visit at our factory here.

the factory
on june 6th max went to nis, serbia to visit our production. we paid for this trip out of our own pocket to avoid any conflict of interest. the team was very welcoming and eager to show its unique factory. the first noticeable thing is that the location is completly powered by solar panels. they also only release wastewater that passed through a treatment plant, so it exits the factory as clean technical water. being a role model for sustainable manufacturing in serbia posses multiple certificates such as GOTS, GRS, OEKO-TEX (clothing certificates) and ISO, SA8000, SMETA, BSCI (international standards and social responsibility certificates). it was an overwhelming experience to watch our ideas being made and actually seeing the process. when max found a mistake being made, he could change it directly. the greenwashing scandal surrounding fynn kliemann turned out to be a chance for us get more responsible and be a part of the manufacturing of our clothes. getting to know the people who make our designs come to life and to you made us really happy.

our promise
we know were nowhere near perfect when it comes to being a completely sustainable brand, but we are working very hard everyday to make this dream come true. this trip was an important step. we are thankful for your trust and will pay you back with full transparency.
